Mountain House/AirBnb
This project is a 974 sq. ft. mountain house getaway/AirBnb. Built into the face of the mountain, it features a beautiful kitchen with large curtain windows overlooking the lake bringing lots of natural light into the living space. 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom. Again, the idea behind this project was to showcase some of the interior and exterior scenes that I can create.

Pictured Left - Exterior view looking up at the house from down the mountain. Here, you can see the height of the deck as the mountain slopes away from the base of the house. The roof overhang provides the deck with cover from rain and snow. The deck is accessible from the kitchen/dining area and overlooks a lake which you will see more of as you scroll down.
Pictured Right - Interior view of the kitchen. The kitchen has a waterfall countertop on both sides of the island. The backsplash is made up of small gray subway tiles backlit by LED strips beneath the wall cabinets. To the left is a built-in bench that can be used as a small reading nook or additional seating. The island has a dropped ceiling above it with chrome pendant lights. The side of the island opposite the sink has leg room beneath it for a bar like feel and space for stools to fit. The large curtain wall brings natural light into the room and provides a lake view.
Pictured Left - Exterior view of the house from above the mountain slope on a sunny afternoon. Here, you can see the how the deck wraps around toward the entrance of the house. You can also see the chimney which connects to the living room fireplace. The base of the house is made up of a decorative stone, and the siding is a worn wooden finish to give the old mountain house feel. You can see the roof overhang providing shade to the couple on the deck.
Pictured Right - Interior view of the bedroom. The bedroom has a neutral navy color with dark brown wooden accents on the bedframe, bed-side tables, and curtain railing. The closet is large enough to house luggage and clothes for week -long stays. The master bathroom is accessible from inside the bedroom and the main living space. Behind the blue wall surface is LED strip lighting to accent the room and give it a more modern feel. The floor to ceiling windows bring in plenty of light almost creating a natural alarm clock in the AM.
Pictured Left - Exterior view of the house looking out over the lake during the winter. The sunset and snow create a more dramatic scene. Here, you can see the driveway and entrance walkway. There is smoke coming from the chimney in this image to portray the fireplace in use keeping the people inside warm. I created this view in an effort to display the different environmental scenes that are possible with my renderings.
